When we are asked to look after
children who are poorly we try to do things for them in a proper
way. That means helping you and your parents see us when you
need us to come. We want to treat you well and make sure you can
have a say in what we do for you.
We will see that the person who comes
to help care for you knows about children like you. If they know
what is best for you then they can help you better. All your
carers will work for us and we will see that they come to you at
the right time. We all like children and always do our best to
help them.
To see that we all do a good job for
children we have a lady, who is our boss, she makes sure that
everyone does a good job. Her name is Wendy James and she is our
M.D. which means the boss of the whole company. We also have a
manager, another boss who is allowed by the government to look
after children and her name is Bonny Harrison.
We look after children by washing
them, helping get them dressed, feeding or looking after them so
that their mummies and daddies can take a break because they are
tired.
What we do when we care for you, is
to do what you need and treat you right, this means lots of
different things like not talking to anyone about you so that
you can keep private. We will also make a list of what we need
to do for you and give you a copy so you can see what is
supposed to happen, we will also ask you to tell us how we can
help you and your parents. You can also see what we write down
after we have called to care for you.
If you are a teenager then we will be
careful not to embarrass you if we do something personal for
you. We will try to answer any questions that you may have about
us and what we do. |
